General Information
The Prognosticator is available on CD-ROM for computers running Windows XP or later. The license fee for each module is $53.00 and includes $3.00 sales tax. Shipping is $3.00, for a total of $56.00 per module. The cost for BOTH the child support and spousal support modules comes to $109.00, including shipping and taxes.
The program is updated annually for changes in the tax rates and in the Michigan Child Support Formula and Alimony (Spousal Support) Guidelines.
Springfield Publications attempts to notify users of the availability of updates of the Prognosticator programs, but reserves the right to, at any time and without notice, terminate distribution of the programs.
Prognosticator 2012[Order Now]
Prognosticator 2012 allows easy calculation of child support payments using the appropriate formula as specified in the Michigan Child Support Guidelines updated effective October 1, 2008. Recommendations adjust for time with each parent, or third party custody arrangements.
Adjustments may be made under the guidelines for other child support orders, additional children, and qualifying stepchildren as allowed by the formula. Social Security benefits received by the children are considered and child care tax credit is figured using the sliding scale based on the party’s income and time with each parent.
Prognosticator 2012 also prepares recommendations for alimony using the revised alimony guidelines as explained in the August-September 1990 issue of the Michigan Family Law Journal, adjusted for cost of living changes. For 2012, the claimant income factor has been adjusted for cost of living increases.
